We are proud to share with you one of our biggest accomplishments – the project of merging different Atlassian stacks we did for our clients from Paysafe. It is a great example of well thought and executed project dealing with various challenges like limiting downtime, eliminating the risk for loss of vital data, and unification of user management.
With 4 JIRA Software, 3 Confluence, 2 Bitbucket, 2 Bamboo and 2 HipChat server instances to be unified into a single instance for each product, it was not an easy task. Furthermore, there were 6 active directories of users, a diverse set of admins, and different levels of organizational maturity across development, product, and business teams at Paysafe. The task was something nobody has ever done before.
The result, however, is one of the most noticeable projects executed by our team. The lessons learned from it are various, but the most important one is that cooperation is the cornerstone of effective work. The synergy between the teams of Nemetschek Bulgaria and Paysafe resulted in achieving effective workflows between thousands of colleagues across several continents and in several time zones.
We are proud also because the project was featured at the Atlassian Summit Europe held in May 2017 in Barcelona.
